I am very aware of the extraordinary pressures faced by medical practices. Marlow is no exception – with restricted funding and an expanding base of patients. I would just like to say how much I appreciate the dedication of all staff and the very high levels of care and attention provided. I just don’t know how you do it!
I required a routine appointment with a GP and used the online facility of Ask the Doctor a Question, late yesterday afternoon. I was made aware that their aim is to respond to all questions within two working days, which was fine by me. The following day I received a reply on line and a telephone message was also left for me to call to make an appointment, as I missed the call. I rang the surgery, there was only one person before me, so no long wait and the receptionist was able to slot me in for an appointment 15 minutes later, Wow! A truly wonderful, stress free way to obtain a routine appointment with a GP. I did not clog up the telephone lines first thing in the morning when they are incredibly busy nor was there any need to join an early morning queue to talk to a receptionist. Impressive. Thank you.
Thank you to the team in RAC yesterday. Can’t thank you enough for looking after my son. I’m also appreciative of you recognising how difficult he finds it to wait in the waiting area and you have now arranged for him to always wait in a consulting room. This really is a person centred approach. Thank you.
