Temporary and Overseas Visitors

Temporary Residents

If you are staying in Marlow for more than 24 hours and require an urgent appointment which cannot wait until you return home, you can be seen as a temporary patient. Patients living within commuting distance from Marlow will be asked to visit their own surgery.  You will need to provide us with your NHS number and details of your registered surgery so that the record of your visit can be forwarded to your registered doctor. We will also require proof of ID.

Overseas Visitors

Patients who do not reside in the UK may be seen as an overseas visitor.

We would strongly advise that you have travel insurance in place for the duration of your stay so that you can reclaim any costs incurred from your insurance company.

All emergency treatment is provided free of charge regardless of your residency status.
