How to request a repeat prescription

Repeat prescriptions should be requested in writing or dropped off at the surgery during opening hours. Requests cannot be taken over the phone as errors can occur.

Stamped, addressed envelopes should be attached for return by post if required.

Prescriptions are ready for collection after 3.00pm two working days after the request has been received. Your prescription can be sent to a local chemist of your choice. All new patients will need to be seen by their doctor before a prescription can be issued.

Repeat prescriptions should be requested in writing allowing two working days for them to be processed.

The Dispensary - Hambleden

If you live more than one mile away from a chemist you may be entitled to have your prescriptions dispensed at Hambleden.
